📖 Our Story
Kate's Treasures15 began with Dad – a talented actor, scriptwriter, and theatre lover who spent decades collecting 8,000+ rare books, DVDs, and cinema treasures. His passion for storytelling extended far beyond the stage into every corner of his incredible collection of world cinema, classic literature, and hidden gems.
Dad dreamed of sharing this collection with fellow collectors who cherished stories as much as he did. When his final curtain call came too soon, Kate realised this was something they needed to do together – to honour his legacy and keep his passion alive.
Kate's Treasures15 was born. We're more than a shop – we're a mission to preserve and share Dad's incredible collection with people who understand that every treasure tells a story.
🐾 Meet Arya – Our Chief Drama Officer
Every business needs heart, and ours has four paws! Arya is our rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier who became our Chief Drama Officer quite by accident. As a rescue dog herself, Arya's story inspired our partnerships with Arundawn Dog Rescue and Clymping Dog Sanctuary – two incredible rescues where rescue journeys begin, just like hers did.
Arya represents everything we believe in: that every treasure deserves a loving home, every story deserves to be told, and every rescue deserves their chance to shine. With her sassy personality, dramatic poses, and unwavering belief that treats solve everything, she's become the heart and soul of Kate's Treasures15.
