This website is operated by Kate's Treasures15, a small UK family business built around Dad's legacy, carefully chosen treasures and personal customer service.

These Terms explain the rules that apply when you browse our website, contact us, create an account or place an order through the Kate's Treasures15 checkout.

Our online store is hosted through Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to display products, operate the checkout and manage website orders.

1. Using Our Website

You agree to use the Kate's Treasures15 website responsibly and lawfully.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order or contacting us.
• You must not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the website, checkout, accounts or supporting systems.
• You must not introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology.
• You must not scrape, harvest or automatically collect information from the website without permission.
• You must not copy or commercially exploit our original descriptions, photographs, branding or other content without permission.

We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused or where action is required to protect our customers, business or systems.

2. Products

Dad's Collection & Preloved Products

Dad's Collection includes preloved DVDs, Blu-rays, books, CDs and other items from a personal family collection built over many years.

Preloved products may show signs of age, previous use or storage. Individual listings include photographs and condition information to help you make an informed decision before ordering.

Wear, age related marks or storage wear clearly shown or described before purchase are not considered undisclosed faults.

New Products

Kate's Treasures15 also sells new products including gifts, home products, cleaning products, bath and body, home fragrance, jewellery, seasonal products and other everyday finds. Unless a product page clearly states that a purchase takes place on another website, your contract is with Kate's Treasures15 when an order is accepted through our checkout.

Personalised Products

Some products can be personalised with names, dates, wording or other details supplied by you.

Please follow the instructions on the individual product page and carefully check all spelling, punctuation, capital letters, dates and wording before completing your order.

Changes may not be possible once preparation or production has started.

External Purchase Links

Some pages may contain links to products or services available through another retailer.

When you follow an external purchase link, you leave Kate's Treasures15 and complete the transaction with that retailer.

That retailer's prices, payment process, delivery terms, returns policy, customer service and privacy policy apply to the external purchase. Where applicable, Kate's Treasures15 may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

3. Product Information, Photographs & Availability

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately and provide useful photographs, specifications and information.

Colours may appear differently depending on your device, display settings and lighting. Packaging, printed placement and other small presentation details may occasionally vary from the images shown.

Measurements described as approximate may vary slightly. Please check dimensions carefully where size is important.

Products are subject to availability and adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.

If a stock, description or pricing error affects an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

4. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the products shown in your basket.

An automated order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We may be unable to accept an order where:

• A product is unavailable.
• The price or product information contains an obvious error.
• Payment cannot be authorised.
• Delivery information is incomplete or cannot be verified.
• Required personalisation information has not been supplied.
• We reasonably suspect fraud or an unauthorised transaction.
• The order breaches a purchase restriction or these Terms.
• We cannot legally or safely supply the product to the delivery address.

If we cannot fulfil an order after payment has been taken, we will explain the situation and refund the appropriate amount to the original payment method.

5. Payments

Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed. Your payment provider may carry out its own security or fraud prevention checks.

6. Offers, Discounts & Subscriber Benefits

From time to time Kate's Treasures15 may offer discounts, promotional codes, sale prices, subscriber benefits or other special offers.

Individual promotions and benefits may have their own minimum spend, expiry date, eligibility requirements or other conditions. Where these apply, they will be explained with the relevant offer.

Subscriber benefits may be linked to an active newsletter subscription and may require the same email address to be used at checkout that is connected to the subscription.

If you unsubscribe, benefits linked to an active subscription may no longer apply.

Discounts, promotional codes and other offers may not always be combined. Where restrictions apply, they will be explained with the relevant promotion.

7. UK Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed through the Kate's Treasures15 website are available for delivery within the United Kingdom only.

Orders are sent using a suitable tracked UK delivery service.

Dad's Collection: Orders placed before 6am on a working day are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 6am are dispatched the next working day.

Other Products: Most are dispatched within 1 to 3 working days, or within the timeframe stated in the individual product description.

Personalised Products: Please check the individual product description for the expected preparation and dispatch timeframe.

Working days are Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays.

Some orders may arrive in more than one parcel because products can have different preparation and dispatch times or may be packed separately. Separate tracking information may be provided where available.

8. Delivery Delays

We will take reasonable care to dispatch orders within the timeframe shown on the product page or elsewhere on the website.

Delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, postal disruption, industrial action, transport problems, public emergencies, system failures or unusually high seasonal demand.

Nothing in this section removes any cancellation, refund or other rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

9. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

If you wish to cancel an order before dispatch, please contact us as quickly as possible.

If an order has not yet been dispatched or entered preparation or production, we will normally be able to cancel it and issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.

Where change of mind cancellation rights apply, please notify us within 14 days of receiving the final item from your order. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the item.

Certain products cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind where a legal exception applies, including:

• Personalised products or products made to your specifications
• Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the relevant seal has been broken
• Applicable sealed DVDs, CDs or other audio, video or software products once they have been unsealed

Unused digital gift cards may have different cancellation rights depending on the circumstances. Gift cards that have already been redeemed or partly redeemed cannot normally be refunded simply because you have changed your mind.

These provisions do not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described. Full information is available within our Returns & Refunds Policy.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Products supplied through our checkout must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, taking account of whether they are sold as new or preloved.

If something arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask for:

• Your order number
• A description of the problem
• Clear photographs of the product
• Photographs of the parcel and packaging where relevant
• Confirmation that the packaging has been retained

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

11. Product Safety & Intended Use

Please read and follow all instructions, warnings, care information and safety guidance supplied with a product.

Products should be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any manufacturer instructions supplied.

Pet products should be chosen appropriately for the animal's size, age, strength and behaviour. Supervise use where advised and remove products if they become damaged or unsafe.

Cleaning products must be used, diluted, stored and disposed of according to their current label instructions. Never mix cleaning products unless the manufacturer specifically confirms that doing so is safe.

12. Reviews & Customer Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to Kate's Treasures15, you confirm that:

• It is truthful and based on your genuine experience.
• You have the right to submit it.
• It does not infringe another person's privacy, copyright or other rights.
• It is not unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, abusive or misleading.
• It does not contain malicious links, advertising or spam.

We may decline or remove content that breaches these requirements. Submitted content may be displayed on the Kate's Treasures15 website or related marketing channels where appropriate, subject to our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

The Kate's Treasures15 name, original written descriptions, photographs, graphics, collection text and other original website content belong to Kate's Treasures15 or are used with permission.

You may use the website for personal shopping purposes. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, alter, sell or commercially exploit our original content without prior written permission.

14. Website Availability & External Links

We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security work, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

External websites linked from Kate's Treasures15 operate independently and have their own terms, privacy policies and security arrangements.

15. Liability & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses caused by inaccurate information, instructions or delivery details supplied by the customer.

Products sold through the website are intended primarily for personal and domestic use. Where a product is purchased as a consumer product, we are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption.

16. Personal Information

Personal information submitted through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, why we use it, who it may be shared with and your data protection rights.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our products, website, delivery arrangements, services or legal obligations change.

The Terms that apply to an order are normally those in force when the order is placed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and contracts formed through the Kate's Treasures15 website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers living elsewhere in the United Kingdom may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts serving the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
