His taste covered different artists, genres and eras, from familiar favourites to albums that deserve to be discovered again. Music mattered to him in the same way film and books did: something to enjoy properly, return to and keep close.

Each CD comes with its own history. Some were played often, while others spent more time safely stored on the shelf. Original cases, artwork and booklets are included wherever present, with any missing inserts or visible wear stated clearly in the individual listing.

Owning music still offers something streaming cannot quite replace. There is the artwork, the track list, the notes inside the booklet and the simple pleasure of choosing exactly what you want to hear without an app interrupting with suggestions.
