From Dad's Collection

This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a lifelong love of music, film and storytelling, building a collection around the performers and recordings that stayed with him. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each album now looking for a new home where it can continue to be played and appreciated.

Released in 2006, Modern Times blends blues, folk rock, Americana and earlier American musical influences with Dylan's unmistakable lyrical storytelling. Its ten tracks include Thunder on the Mountain, Spirit on the Water, When the Deal Goes Down, Workingman's Blues #2, Nettie Moore and Ain't Talkin'.

Dylan produced the album under his long-used pseudonym Jack Frost. This limited edition adds a bonus DVD featuring Blood in My Eyes, a live Grammy Awards performance of Love Sick, Things Have Changed and Cold Irons Bound from Masked and Anonymous.
