Why Rescue Is Personal to Us
For us, rescue is not an abstract cause. Arya, our Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Chief Drama Officer, is a rescue dog herself.
Arya joined our family on 22 December 2024. She needed somewhere safe, patience, reassurance and people willing to see the dog behind the labels so often attached to Staffies and rescue dogs.
What we got in return was a loving, funny, stubborn and deeply affectionate dog with enough personality to fill the house.
Arya became part of our family and part of Kate's Treasures15. Knowing what one second chance meant to her made supporting other rescue dogs feel completely natural.
It is also why you will see Arya throughout the website, helping us show another side of rescue dogs and Staffordshire Bull Terriers along the way.
More Than Website Orders
Supporting rescue dogs is not limited to the contribution made through website orders.

Dad's Legacy, Arya's Second Chance
Kate's Treasures15 began because I wanted Dad's collection and the things he cared about to continue being appreciated rather than simply disappearing into boxes.
Arya's story brought another meaning to the business: the importance of second chances.
Those two stories may seem very different, but to me they belong together. Both are about recognising something worth caring about and making sure its story does not simply disappear.
That is at the heart of Kate's Treasures15.
Rescue dogs do not need to be defined by where they came from.
Sometimes we just need somebody to give us the chance to show them who we really are. The sofa, blankets and tennis balls can be negotiated afterwards.
