This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a genuine love of world cinema, independent film and memorable performances. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each title now looking for a new home where it can continue to be appreciated.

Directed by Danny Pang and Oxide Pang, Bangkok Dangerous follows Kong, a professional assassin who lives by strict rules designed to keep emotion out of his dangerous profession. As his assignments continue, unexpected relationships begin to challenge everything he believes about loyalty, isolation and survival.

Set against the streets and underworld of Bangkok, the film combines stylish cinematography and carefully controlled tension with a more emotional story of loneliness, fate and redemption. Featuring Pavarit Mongkolpisit and Premsinee Ratanasopha, it became one of the defining Thai crime thrillers of its era.

An excellent collector title for admirers of Thai cinema, Asian crime thrillers, the Pang Brothers and stylish international action cinema.
