Martin Scorsese 5 Film Collection DVD Box Set

Brand new and sealed. A five film collection bringing together some of Martin Scorsese's most distinctive work, from the intensity of Raging Bull to the dark humour of The King of Comedy.

From Dad's Collection

This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a genuine love of cinema, memorable performances and directors with a distinctive creative voice. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each title now looking for a new home where it can continue to be appreciated.

This collection showcases the range of Martin Scorsese across five very different films. Raging Bull delivers one of his most intense character studies, while The King of Comedy explores fame, obsession and ambition through a darker comic lens.

New York, New York brings music and romance into Scorsese's unmistakable visual world, The Last Waltz captures The Band's celebrated farewell concert, and Boxcar Bertha offers an early glimpse of the director's developing style through crime and period drama.

Together, the five films provide a varied look at a filmmaker whose work has moved between intimate character drama, music, crime and cultural commentary while retaining a highly recognisable cinematic voice.

An excellent sealed collection for Martin Scorsese fans, collectors of classic American cinema and anyone building a library of influential directors.
