Directed by Keoni Waxman, Maximum Conviction stars Steven Seagal and Steve Austin as former special-forces operatives Cross and Manning, who are assigned to oversee the closure of an old high-security prison.
What appears to be a routine operation quickly turns into a deadly siege when a heavily armed group attacks the facility in search of two mysterious female prisoners. With the prison locked down and danger closing in from every direction, Cross and Manning must fight their way through the attackers and uncover what is really being hidden inside.
The film wastes little time getting to the action, combining close-quarters combat, explosions, weapons and the pressure of a confined prison setting where nobody can be trusted and escape is far from simple.
