This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a genuine love of world cinema, independent film and memorable performances. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each title now looking for a new home where it can continue to be appreciated.

Directed by Sam Raimi, Oz the Great and Powerful stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, a travelling magician whose exaggerated claims and questionable behaviour are suddenly tested when he is carried from Kansas into the dazzling Land of Oz.

Featuring James Franco and Mila Kunis, the film follows Oscar as he encounters powerful witches, extraordinary landscapes and a kingdom expecting him to become the great wizard of legend. Illusion, invention and courage gradually become far more important than the stage tricks he once relied upon.
