This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a genuine love of world cinema, independent film and memorable performances. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each title now looking for a new home where it can continue to be appreciated.

Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, Pompeii follows Milo, an enslaved gladiator whose journey brings him to the Roman city of Pompeii, where he forms a connection with Cassia, the daughter of a wealthy family facing pressures of her own.

Featuring Kit Harington and Emily Browning, the film combines arena combat and political cruelty with the growing threat of Mount Vesuvius. As the eruption begins, Milo must fight through fire, collapsing buildings and widespread panic in an attempt to reach Cassia before the city is overwhelmed.

A strong collector title for admirers of 3D Blu-ray, historical action and large scale disaster cinema, with both 3D and standard 2D presentations included.
