Hugh Jackman stars as Keller Dover, a desperate father who becomes convinced that the police have released the person responsible. As fear and anger take control, Keller begins following his own path towards answers, crossing moral boundaries that become increasingly difficult to justify.

The film builds its tension slowly and refuses to offer easy certainty. Every character carries secrets, every decision has consequences and the search for justice becomes tangled with grief, obsession and revenge.
