This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a genuine love of world cinema, independent film and memorable performances. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each title now looking for a new home where it can continue to be appreciated.

Directed by Akira Kurosawa, Rashomon centres on a violent encounter involving a samurai, his wife and a bandit, with the events retold through several conflicting accounts.
