This copy comes from my dad's personal collection. Dad was an actor and scriptwriter with a genuine love of world cinema, independent film and memorable performances. His collection remains an important part of Kate's Treasures15, with each title now looking for a new home where it can continue to be appreciated.

Written and directed by Takeshi Kitano, who also stars in the title role, Zatoichi reimagines the legendary blind swordsman as a travelling masseur whose quiet manner conceals extraordinary skill with a blade.
