Some items on Kate's Treasures15 are chosen because they are beautiful or useful. Some are here because they meant something to my dad. He was an actor, a scriptwriter, and a serious collector of films and books that had something to say. This is one of those pieces.

This is the kind of film that becomes a shared language. It is ridiculous in the best way, sharp underneath the silliness, and built on performances that fully commit to the chaos. No big effects, no polish, just writing and timing that still land decades later.

If you like British comedy that is surreal, quotable, and completely unbothered by logic, this is a must have for the shelf.
