Palmarosa is a bit of a hidden gem. It smells like roses but comes from a grass, which is a nice little plot twist. Right darlings… so Bella was here when the humans were sniffing this the other day. She's the cockapoo from down the road, very nosy, loves a gossip, eats her own bed. She came bounding in, stuck her nose right up to the bottle, and said "ooh what's that? Smells like flowers. Is it flowers? Are we doing flowers now?" It's palmarosa, Bella. "What's a palmarosa?" It's a grass that smells like roses. "A GRASS that smells like ROSES? That's mad. That's absolutely mad." She was genuinely amazed. Kept saying "a grass though" for about five minutes. Anyway, the humans have been adding this to their skincare and acting like they've discovered the secret to eternal youth. "My skin feels so soft." Yes Karen, that's what oils do. It does smell lovely though. Soft and floral. Very "I shop at fancy places" energy. Five paws because Bella was fascinated and honestly the grass to rose thing is quite impressive.
