Right darlings… they’ve named it. It’s called “Mr Carrot Patch” and apparently now lives here full time. It just sits there with a vegetable on its head while everyone tells it how cute it is. Meanwhile I exist, in real life, being genuinely adorable, and do I get this level of praise? No. Outrageous. They light it up, add something flowery to its head, and suddenly it’s “spring has arrived.” It hasn’t. There is still mud. I checked. It does smell nice though and the humans are weirdly cheerful, which usually leads to snacks. Five paws for emotional manipulation via vegetables.
