Right darlings… so Maureen was here when the humans opened this set. She's the ancient greyhound from the big house at the end, been around since before time began, moves like she's conserving energy for something important that never comes. The humans were sniffing all twelve bottles going "ooh myrrh" and "ooh frankincense" and Maureen just watched them with this look of deep exhaustion. Eventually she said "frankincense. Yes. I remember frankincense. They used to burn it in the old days. Before the war." Which war, Maureen? "All of them." She then closed her eyes like the memory was too much and had a little nap right there on the rug. The humans didn't even notice, too busy arguing about whether Gold smells more like gold or more like Christmas. It doesn't smell like actual gold, Karen, gold doesn't have a smell. Anyway, twelve bottles is a lot of festive chaos and I'm here for it. Five paws because Maureen approved in her own ancient way and honestly this set smells like Christmas did something right.
